With its own micro-climate, top-to-bottom skiing is possible from late November and lasting well into April. Once a sleepy village in the municipality of Zell am See, Bramberg has transformed itself into a charming Alpine ski resort for families and investors alike, thanks to constant investment in its ski facilities. Bramberg invested in a brand new gondola in 2011, which leads directly its 75km of family-friendly ski pistes, 85% of which are either blue or red. Just 2 minutes further down the valley, Neukirchen awaits a similar boom in popularity. Described as a ‘hidden gem’, this picturesque village is only 15 minutes from Mittersill, the region’s largest town. Obergurgl is a high-end Alpine village, and is particularly popular amongst wealthy British and Dutch skiers.
