The Facts

Saalbach-Hinterglemm’s 900 state of the art snow guns offer skiers snow-surety year after year. This year's perfect conditions however boosted the resort’s overnight stays up to 82.08% by January! With an increase of 5.8% from 2017, the Tourist Office officials were overjoyed with the statistics. Wolfgang Breitfus, the Director of the SaaIbach Hinterglemm Tourist Office, stated: ‘Everything just simply came together this year: The early onset of winter in November, when Easter fell this year we had fantastic weather conditions with heavy snowfalls and top events.’ These events include the BERGFESTival and Rave on the Snow, two of the Alps most fantastic on-piste parties.
